FAQ:

How can I use it?

Its most popular uses are as an oral supplement, applied to foods, or used on the skin. But our customers are always finding new uses for it.

Can I cook with it?

The simple answer is yes. The long answer starts with a question, why would you? To heat the butter oil will break down the nutrient components in the oil and diminish the health benefits of the oil. The oil is best consumed at room temperature and with cod liver oil for the most synergistic effect. When you do cook with it you can at low temperatures to add flavor.

What if I am Lactose-Intolerant?

Many lactose-intolerant people find no difficulty digesting our High Vitamin Grass-fed Butter Oil. It is lactose free. We suggest that you consult your health professional.

Is it Casein free?

Yes.

Is Ghee/Clarified Butter the Same as Butter Oil?

Ghee/clarified butter is NOT the same as Grass Fed Organic butter oil.
The difference is in procedure used for manufacturing. Butter oil is extracted from cream using proprietary advanced molecular techniques and at a high speed to preserve nutrients, taste and aroma. Good butter oil should have strong aroma not a NUTTY FLAVOR. Nutty flavor indicates heating at high temperature and nutrients such as low chain fatty acids, Wulzen Factor, Butyric acid, and Vitamins) have been destroyed. As we say You Get What You Pay For.
The ghee is not completely free from lactose or proteins. However properly prepared butter oil is free from lactose and milk proteins. Since butter oil is completely free from milk solids, it does not spoil faster and has longer shelf life than ghee.
So While buying butter oil ask for the procedure that was used to manufacture.
