SPECIAL (was $45) - short dated April 23. The manufacturer has not done studies to see how the quantities of active probiotics decline over time, once past the BB date, but it seems likely that it will gradually decline over a period of a few months. Anecdotally, we have had customers trial the Migrea variant that was past its BB, and it was still effective.

Bio-Kult Mind is an advanced multi-action formulation designed to target both the digestive tract and cognitive function.

Bio-Kult Mind is a scientifically developed multi-action formulation containing one specifically selected strain of live bacteria, alongside bioavailable flavonoids (grape and wild blueberry extracts) and zinc. Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Zinc also contributes to the normal function of the immune system. The probiotic strain, Bacillus subtillis PXN® 21® has been proven to survive the high acidity of the stomach and to complement the existing gut flora naturally present in a healthy person's digestive  system.

The beneficial bacteria in Bio-Kult Mind  are cryoprotected during the freeze drying process, which gives two main benefits:

1. They are protected from the harsh acid environment of the stomach and are therefore able to colonise the full length of the gastrointestinal tract.
2. The process allows Bio-Kult to be stored at room temperature without the need for refrigeration.

Bio-Kult  Mind  can be used on a continuous basis and is recommended to support cognitive function.

Contains soya and milk, used in the fermentation process. Content of milk is at a level that would not affect lactose intolerant sufferers.

Each capsule contains: 

• Zinc citrate 
• Grape & blueberry extracts 45mg
• Zinc citrate 7mg, provides 2mg zinc (20% NRV)
• NRV = Nutrient Reference Value
• 1 billion microorganisms per capsule (1 x 109 CFU) viable throughout the shelf life, equivalent to 6.3 billion microorganisms per gram (6.3 x 109 CFU/g).

Directions for use*:

Adult

• 1 - 2 capsules once or twice daily.
